| I'm a Bitcoiner from South Korea. One of Bitcoin's most unique characteristics is its 4-year cycle. Since Bitcoin's launch, each market cycle has been closely tied to the halving event, which occurs approximately every four years. Bull markets, bear markets, accumulation phases, and new all-time highs have repeatedly appeared around this cycle. Of course, Bitcoin's price never follows the exact same path twice. The prices are different. But the timing and overall structure of the cycle have shown remarkable similarities throughout Bitcoin's history. To visualize this idea, I created a circular chart that maps Bitcoin's entire price history around each halving cycle. The goal isn't to predict the future with certainty. It's simply a different way to observe Bitcoin's long-term cyclical behavior and compare past market structures side by side. I'd love to hear your thoughts. Do you think the 4-year cycle is still relevant? [link] [comments] |
